Sponsorship, donations and similar
We are often asked for our support, whether it be for sponsorship of a national awards ceremony or for a raffle prize donation for a school fete. We are happy to consider all requests, however please do bear in mind that we are a growing company and we simply don't have the resources (yet!) of some of the bigger names in beauty.
Our preference is to support activities and events that are local, charitable and related to Fairtrade, and / or where we can get involved - please note however that we are normally unable to take stalls at events due to very limited resources.

Advertising, marketing and similar
Broadly speaking, our approach to marketing is based on partnerships - activities where both Bubble & Balm and our partners benefit in ways that go beyond the exchange of cash in return for our name in lights! With this in mind, here's some examples of the sorts of things we like to do...
- being a guest speaker / appearing on radio and TV / contributing to articles / editorial (whether from the perspective of Fairtrade, natural beauty or entrepreneurship)
- selective listings in relevant directories and on relevant websites
- selective sponsorship, where our involvement goes beyond simply paying for a 'package' and receiving media exposure in return
And here's some examples of the sorts of things we (almost) never do...
- straight advertising - by this we mean taking paid for space in magazines, newspapers and similar
- direct mail / mailshots (unless we're sending newsletters or similar to customers who have actively 'opted in' to receive information from us)
- telesales - there's no (almost) never about this one, it's a never!
